V\u00e1squez atribuye su resurgimiento en el f\u00fatbol a su fe religiosa. \u201cSal\u00ed de la c\u00e1rcel, recib\u00ed a Cristo como mi salvador, y de ah\u00ed mi vida en el f\u00fatbol fue en aumento\u201d, declar\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>En la continuaci\u00f3n de la charla, V\u00e1squez evoca su etapa en el club albo y detalla su presente. \u201cMi mejor momento lo viv\u00ed fue en <strong>Colo Colo<\/strong>, en el 2006. Ah\u00ed estuve con jugadores como <strong>Alexis S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, <strong>Claudio Bravo<\/strong>, <strong>Humberto Suazo<\/strong>, <strong>Arturo Sanhueza<\/strong>, <strong>Braulio Leal<\/strong>, <strong>Arturo Vidal<\/strong>&#8230; Fui campe\u00f3n con <strong>Claudio Borghi<\/strong> al mando y ese fue uno de los momentos m\u00e1s hermosos de mi vida\u201d, record\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El ex mediocampista tambi\u00e9n comparti\u00f3 an\u00e9cdotas, como su cercan\u00eda con <strong>Alexis S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> en el vestuario. \u201cYo era de esos jugadores que tiraba la talla en el camar\u00edn. Entonces, a Alexis le gustaba eso y andaba a todos lados conmigo\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, V\u00e1squez est\u00e1 involucrado en un proyecto para crear escuelas de f\u00fatbol destinadas a ni\u00f1os de escasos recursos, en colaboraci\u00f3n con Carlos y Franco Parisi, esperando que este \u00faltimo asuma la presidencia de Chile. \u201cA los j\u00f3venes de las poblaciones nadie los apoya\u201d, lament\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, mantiene una estrecha amistad con <strong>Mat\u00edas Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, con quien comparte ideas sobre f\u00fatbol y religi\u00f3n. \u201cMe gustar\u00eda plantearle este proyecto de ayudar a los ni\u00f1os de escasos recursos. Ser\u00eda lindo hacerlo con <strong>Mat\u00edas Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, un ejemplo para muchos ni\u00f1os\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Alejandro V\u00e1squez pertenece a la iglesia Templo Topacio, liderada por su pastor V\u00edctor Hugo Rebolledo y su pastora Joana Bastidas.
