Inicialmente, seu pedido foi rejeitado por motivos de direitos autorais, pois o nome do clube era uma marca registrada global. Um juiz local permitiu que Marin mudasse seu primeiro nome para Manchester, mas proibiu o uso de “United” como sobrenome oficial. “Mas eu n\u00e3o quero ter o nome de uma cidade inglesa, quero usar o nome do meu clube de futebol favorito”, contestou Marin no tribunal, insistindo em sua luta.<\/p>\n
